Randi has been my best friend since about pre-school! So we go WAY back. I was honored enough to be asked to be a bridesmaid! But she did ask me to do their engagements. I had a blast with these two! I traveled to Abilene, Texas to do their photos and found some great locations at that. And the number one place I love is their land they have and their house! I love their house.
They have set the date for August 9, 2008.
Oh and before you watch the slideshow I have to tell you the story about the song...
That night after I did their engagement photos we went and saw Charlie Robison. Here is one of his songs titled "Your not the best". Randi kept telling me this was the song they were going to dance to at their wedding, which would be absolutely hilarious.
Here is their session!!

Brenlei=4 months!
Brenlea is I believe 4 months old now. I already knew her dad from a while back. He is my best friend's uncle. And also a state trooper! (Yup...that pulled me over a couple of time.) haha!! I met Brenlea and her mother for the first time Monday morning. I had such a great time with this little one. She is SOO adorable and will be fighting off those little boys in no time!
I love this little face she is making below!!
And of course we have to get the little piggies in there somewhere!
And since her daddy is a state trooper they she had a little big! And I couldn't resist posting this little face!
She has GORGEOUS blue eyes!
Somehow with the bib she has on in the photo below the face she is making says it all!
I couldn't really decide which one I liked better from the 2 below. The color or the black and white.
Briana=Beautiful Bride!
This session was unfortunately very challenging for me. (With technical difficulties.)
Briana was such a beautiful bride and I have the pleasure of photographing her wedding. (Which was this last Friday.) Yeah, I have alot of catching up to do on here. But of course I do not post bridals until after the wedding.
So here is what happened. I bought my Canon 40D at the end of December. It worked great and I love it. BUT...in the middle of the bridal session an "Error 99" message came up. I did just what I thought I should do...I turned the camera off, took the battery out, and turned it back on. It worked for a while...or so I thought.
We were at our last location and that pesky error message came up again..but this time after doing what I did before to fix it..it wouldn't fix. I kept getting that message every time I would press the shutter button. And dumb me did not take my backup camera. BIG LESSON LEARNED!! ALWAYS carry a backup. You never know.
I got home and put all the photos on the computer and to my surprise and disappointment alot of the photos I had taken did not record onto the memory card! So almost half of the session did not record. At first I thought I had lost a memory card in the process of switching cards during the shoot. But I counted all my cards out and nope...all of them were there.
I was so upset...my camera wasn't working and half of the session did not record.
I took my camera in IMMEDIATELY Saturday morning to Armadillo Camera here in town. They couldn't do anything there so they had to send it in. Thankfully it is still under warranty.
So here are the best ones from the shoot! (The ones that DID record).
Haley+Josh=ENGAGED!!!
Last year Haley contacted me about photographing her wedding. Haley and I go way back. I went to school with her until about high school when she moved away. So when she contacted me I felt more then happy and excited to get to see her again and to be able to capture her special day!
So meet Haley and Josh!
Since Josh is a big golf fanatic where better to go then where else? PUTT-PUTT! It was a blast!
Haleigh=SENIOR!
Because of these crazy winds that have been going on we had to reschedule her session 2-3 times!!
Meet Haleigh! Her and her mom met me downtown for some HS Senior photos!
Krissy+Darin=ENGAGED!!!
Meet Krissy and Darin! These 2 are getting married on July 4th!
I am absolutely in love with this one!!!
Crystal+Jason=MARRIED!!!
Crystal and Ernest got married April 12, 2008. I met them last year about about doing their wedding. What a sweet beautiful couple.
I had procrastinated putting their photos up here. I can't believe I didn't put some up sooner! And Adam actually shot most of the reception! He did SUCH a great job! I'm proud!
They took a horse and carriage from the ceremony half way to the reception!! AWESOME idea!!
This was the grooms cake!!!
Father/Daughter dance...I don't know what it is about Father/Daughter dances but they always make me want to cry like a baby!
Bride/Groom dance
I love this one!
Mother/Daughter
And instead of doing bubble/petals or the usual thing they did a balloon send off in honor of their Grandparents! What a creative thing to do!
